Certificat de conformitate pentru medici – Ministerul Sănătății

Certificate of Conformity for Doctors

We obtain the certificate of conformity or the recommendation from the Ministry of Health in the shortest time, at the request of document holders for the professions of doctor, dentist, pharmacist, general nurse and midwife. Since 15 January 2007, the Ministry of Health has issued the certificates and attestations needed for the recognition, in the other EU member states, of qualifications obtained in Romania in the professions of doctor, dentist, pharmacist, general nurse and midwife.

Categories and issuance conditions

The certificate of conformity is issued only to doctors, dentists, pharmacists, general nurses and midwives who meet the conditions of citizenship, ancestry, filiation, marriage and residence provided by law and who obtained their professional training on Romanian territory.

For holders of diplomas, certificates and other qualifications as a doctor, dentist, pharmacist, general nurse or midwife issued by a third state and equated according to law, who have effectively and legally practised the profession on the basis of these qualifications for a period of 3 years in Romania, the Ministry of Health issues an attestation certifying this professional experience, required for the recognition procedure in the other member states.

Documents required for issuing the certificate of conformity

  • An application that also states the contact details.
  • A copy of the ID.
  • Legalized copies of the baccalaureate diploma and of the official qualifications (the Certificate of Professional Competences, the graduation diploma of the post-secondary health school for obstetrics-gynaecology nursing, the university diploma).

After issuance, we can provide the legalized translation of the certificate and the apostille, if the destination state requires it. For unregulated professions, see the Certificate of Conformity (CNRED).
