Apostille

The apostille is the certification that makes a Romanian official document recognized in another state party to the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961, without legalization at the embassy. Romania has applied the Convention since 16 March 2001. Expert For You obtains the apostille for you from the competent institution, in any county, and if the document also needs to be translated, we deliver everything in a single file.

How we work

  1. Send us by e-mail or WhatsApp a photo of the document and the country where you’ll use it.
  2. We confirm the correct route (apostille or legalization, which endorsements are needed first) and the total cost.
  3. You leave the originals at our office (Unirii area) or send them by courier, together with the power of attorney, if applicable.
  4. We obtain the apostille and, on request, translate the document and the apostille and legalize the translation.
  5. You receive the documents at our office or by courier, in Romania or abroad.

Electronic apostille: documents issued electronically by authorities can be apostilled online, via the hub.mai.gov.ro platform; the apostille is received by e-mail or downloaded from the account. We help you check whether your document is eligible and whether the destination state accepts the electronic version.
